This unique monoprint collage focuses on balance and symmetry. The monoprint has been made on delicate old paper from a vintage note book. The paper is tinted yellow from age and the holes are slightly torn. I like the juxtaposition between the natural state of the paper and the sharp cut lines of the collage. In this piece we see again the play between spontaneously and control.

Each monoprint collage is a one-off signed original artwork, carefully constructed by hand. The collage itself is assembled on 90g ivory, acid free paper (18 cm x 27.5 cm) and is a hand printed monoprint. The work has then been mounted on to (30 cm x 40 cm) 224g, acid free. Framed.
