With this collection of collages I’m working in a way which expresses pure aesthetic form and feeling. With my palette of hand printed papers, I construct and build the collage.

The paper pods came about through a period of experimentation in the studio. I found that I really enjoyed the process of making them.

Drawing has always been important to me. Using limited and simple materials can be very motivating – it helps to give me focus. It’s peaceful and meditative. A recording of feeling.

These monoprint collages are constructed with the same sentiment as the printed collages, the main differences being that the base for each collage is a monoprint and that there is often a difference in scale.
